In honor of Vietnam Veterans Day on March 29th, the Bob Brinker Memorial Veterans Foundation is gifting a copy of Gary Sinise’s new book, Grateful American: A Journey from Self to Service, to local veterans in the metro Detroit area. We currently have 130 copies of the book to disperse after the Vietnam Veterans Day ceremony at Great Lakes National Cemetery on March 27th and at the VFW Post 6756 Auxiliary Craft Show on March 31st in Centerline. Veterans must show proof of service. Acceptable proof includes a VA card, a membership card for a VFW or American Legion, a military ID or a DD-214.

Vietnam Veterans Day Ceremony at Great Lakes National Cemetery will take place at 10am. The cemetery is located at 4200 Belford Road in Holly, Michigan.

The VFW Post 6756 Auxiliary Craft Show will be held from 10am – 4pm. Admission to the craft show is a $1.00 donation. The VFW Menge Post 6756 is located at 25500 Sherwood in Centerline, Michigan.

Book sponsorships are available. We will include the name of the sponsor inside the book and all donations are tax deductible. We will be able to order additional books for distribution with book sponsorships.
