Thank you to The Marvel Report and The Perky Nerd as well as everyone who participated in their Thanks-For-Giving fundraiser and donation drive.
Everyone who donated items received a raffle ticket to be used toward art pieces from Patrick Ballesteros, Allen Helbig, Justin Harder, Lord Mesa, Patrick Scullin, the Ninjabot and other donated raffle items. We are grateful to everyone who donated to this event.
Over 20 complete care packages were put together containing towels, sweatshirt or blanket, can opener, toiletries pack, snack pack, knitted hat & scarf and a reusable water bottle. We also made up toiletry packs with the remaining items. All items, including the remaining water and snack donations, were distributed to the Vet Hunters project and the female veterans transitional housing facilities in Long Beach with the help of American Legion Auxiliary Post 280 of East Pasadena.
